"Pakistan came into being on 14th August 1947.........."
Some students are having naps, others are interested in the scene outside the classroom, few others are secretly grinning over a joke cracked by a friend, some are trying to find the ways to run out of the class and have fun in cafeteria. Whereas teacher is all interested in speaking himself (only God knows what :D)without realizing the comical situation created by his lecture.
This was the usual scene of our social sciences class:).And the main reason we don't understand the need and importance of Pakistan.
14th August's celebrations are going on with usual passion and zeal.Shopping malls, amusementment parks, roads, streets etc all are echoed with national songs and laddled with flags and buntings.
Yes independence day of Pakistan is approaching shortly and all are enthusiastic to make it great. It is obviously good to see nation taking pride in its identity( an element which is clearly lacking among the masses these days). But we must not forget the base of our identity i.e "Two Nation Theory", which infact points to different life style for muslim and non-muslim nations. And this year for the first time I realise its importance (the reasons will be discussed in some other blog) and it led me to the boring lectures of our Pakistan Studies class.

But all my extremely serious mood turned to be funny when I asked my cousin about this theory and her opinion.
"Two nation theory, ok but first tell me does it relate to genetics or physical science and the scientist name who introduced it?", she said while doing her nail polish and making my eyes popped out.
But my brother had quite different views who thought it to be some new package introduced by his favourite mobile
network. And to top my astonishment my uncle (considering it a slogan of some political party) complains that they always make fool out of public!
It means they were also having the same Social Studies classes :)

Please do share it, all will like to hear.
